Dan Lutzick is the owner and artist
exhibited at SNOWDRIFT. In 1994
Dan graduated with a degree in
Fine Arts from the University of
California Irvine, and that same
year moved to Winslow, Arizona.
On a handshake, he took over a
vacant 3,000 sq. ft. post office
which he renovated as his first
studio. In 1997, Dan became a
partner in the La Posada Hotel
restoration project. While working to
renovate La Posada, Dan began to
use the hotel construction materials
to create his art work. Using
materials such as plywood, rebar,
roofing tar, and bailing wire, Dan
has spent the last 13 years
developing the collection of
sculptures currently on view at
SNOWDRIFT Art Space.
