| The main exhibition space at SNOWDRIFT is 7,000 square feet with a 16 feet high historic pressed tin ceiling and 8 by 10 feet skylights. This space contains a number of large sculptures, many with dimensions in excess of 12 feet. Three floating (movable) corrugated metal walls divide the space. The loft overlooking the main exhibition space is 2,000 square feet with 8 feet high ceilings, and contains many small sculptures. In addition, there is a 10,000 square feet basement, half of which used to contain the Babbitt Brothers sporting goods department. In the future, part of this space will be used for exhibition of smaller work, with the remainder on view as a working studio. |
